Purple Star Partnership

Global Game Changers is thrilled to partner with Purple Star Schools Kentucky to support military connected-children with a valuable resource available for use to schools nationwide.

This resource provides a lesson, worksheets, and emotion management resources to support military-connected students and to help all students learn more about and build empathy for our military families.

Purple Star Award Schools apply for and earn a designation that affirms their commitment to the military-connected youth in their buildings. According to Purple Star Schools Kentucky, “Schools must complete four requirements to receive the Purple Star Award.  Schools awarded the Purple Star designation lets military-connected students and families know, whether they are active duty, National Guard, Reserves, or Veterans, that their school is dedicated to helping their child gain the educational and social-emotional skills necessary to be college-, workforce- and life-ready.”

Currently, the Purple Star Award Program is implemented in 41 states across the country.
